Carers Rights Day (30/11) - social media takeover #UnitedForCarers
Coming together to champion carers rights
A carers working group made up of representatives from local authorities, health services (including DCHS) and voluntary sector organisations has come together in support of carers. To mark Carers Rights Day the group will be coordinating their approach on social media channels using the hashtag #UnitedForCarers and posting about carers rights. It is important for local health, social care and voluntary sector staff to be well informed about carers rights and know how to signpost to local support services.
- Please continue to Ask-Record-Engage everyone who uses our services so we can register all carers and offer information and signposting using the wallet cards (if you need more please contact the patient experience team DCHST.PatientExperienceTeam@nhs.net)
- Get involved, Retweet, share and add your own experiences of caring use the #UnitedForCarers #CarersRightsDay
