Three new learning pathways - Dementia, Frailty and End of Life
We have reviewed and revamped our Dementia, Frailty and End of Life learning pathways and can't wait to start delivering three exciting new programmes. Are you a ward or community based clinician? Why not sign up for one of the core modules and start your learning journey now?
Overview of the 3 learning pathways
This new approach will see a number of external speakers delivering course content as well as some of our in-house experts, including our new medical director – Ben Pearson - who has considerable experience working with vulnerable older patients and as a clinical educator. These programmes will all be multi-professional learning environments.
More about the training programmes
All new starters will do the Dementia Tier 1 training at Induction, and staff working in clinical roles will also do the Tier 1 Frailty training in their Foundations in Care sessions before they join their clinical teams. The new Core Modules and Tier 2 training is suitable for all clinical staff (community and ward based) and Tier 3 training is suitable for CM’s, ACP/ANP, Clinical Leads, medical staff and Dementia Specialist staff.

Apologies, there have been national issues with ESR. Anyone wishing to book on to any of these programmes will not be able to until Friday 12 July - look for 842 DFE - when the problems will have been resolved.
Please contact Gemma del Toro (Specialist Lead Trainer – End of life and Dementia) if you have any questions.
