#DCHSCommunityWeek - two new exciting challenge activities .... are you ready?
Building on the successes of the past two years and looking to answer the question – Why don’t DCHS events happen near where I work? – we are taking #DCHSCommunityWeek ‘on tour’ this year.
Over the week, 9-15 September, we will be delivering 30 wellbeing sessions, holding 11 Pop-Up Market Place events, 11 Exec Huddles and at least seven ‘Bake Off’ competitions! Oh, and there are a couple of exciting new challenge events too - Can we run a marathon (or 10??) as a Trust in a week? And, Are you ready to take the Hula Hoop challenge? Find out more about the plans for the week here.

We are trying to see if we can clock up a marathon (or 10?) during #DCHSCommunityWeek.
You don’t have to be a runner to participate; we want staff to record their activity - walking, running, hopping, skipping, jumping or swimming - whatever way you like, to see how far we can ‘run’ as at Trust during Community Week.
How to record and submit your activity:
Take a screen shot of your activity tracker app and email us the activity.
We will work out the miles!
Send your information to E: DCHST.communications@nhs.net
Only activity undertaken between Monday 9 September and Sunday 15 September will be included.
We will add the miles up to see how many marathons we have completed in a week!
