Physical activity seminars for healthcare professionals
Loughborough University academics are running pilot seminar evenings - Exercise as Medicine - in September. Please find here a flyer explaining more detail.
Hosted at the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine, and delivered by Loughborough University academics, the course consists of two seminars which will present evidence-based knowledge on the use of physical activity for the prevention and management of common conditions. The role of physical activity in conditions such as weight management, mental health and glucose regulation amongst others will be covered over the two dates.
The cost is £30 for both sessions, on the 19 and 26 September, 4pm – 7pm. This is a reduced price for the pilot, and feedback following the course is welcomed.
