Ribbon-cutting at Langwith Medical Centre
Langwith Medical Centre’s team celebrated their brand new facilities with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on 6 September.
Local community VIP guests Pam Harrison and Sandra Peake, who started to campaign for new health premises more than a decade ago, were invited to cut the ribbon.
Chief executive Tracy Allen gave her thanks to everyone involved in achieving the new building and to our primary care team for the seamless move from the outdated premises just next door.
Building work started on site in early 2019 and it opened its doors for patients just seven months later. Nearly 60 new patients registered at the practice in the five weeks after it opened on 12 August. More details here.
