Allied Health Professions (AHPs) Day

On Monday we celebrated the second national Allied Health Professions (AHPs) Day and the distinct contribution of each of the six different allied health professions in DCHS, which are:

  • Physiotherapists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Podiatrists
  • Speech and Language therapists
  • Paramedics
  • Operating Department Practitioners.

There was lots of great coverage on social media on the day, if you want to look at any of the content, search the #AHPsDay hashtag for content. Our own AHPs have produced some great videos on the difference between the AHP staff groups we have within DCHS. Watch them both below!

  • AHPs, what we do. Watch here.
  • What are Allied Health Professionals, watch the video here.

Our podiatry colleagues also showed off their Toe-tally Toe-rific superpowers in this great photo!
