Minor injury units in positive media spotlight
Massive thanks to Julie Henson and Lauretta Stevenson at Ilkeston MIU for stepping up to the microphone to explain our minor injury service to listeners of BBC Radio Derby.
The role of our four MIUs in providing a fast and efficient service to help keep people away from long waits at A&E made it to top story on the hourly news bulletins last Thursday and a four-minute piece with Julie and Lauretta was broadcast during the morning radio show.
