What matters to you
The conference will promote the key themes of the national Dying Matters week – “Dying to be heard” and Dementia Action week. As a key theme of the conference we wanted to make “What matters to you” central to the day and to include discussion on; what matters to you at end of life?, when you are living with dementia? or caring for someone with it? and, importantly, what matters to you as a professional.
There will be interactive workshops for you to participate in together with a "market place" of stands linked to key themes of the day.
We will have keynote speeches from leading figures at NHS England who have roles in Dementia care and the Personalisation agenda. Proudly, some of our staff will be sharing how they have delivered ‘what mattered’ and there will be very special personal reflection from a husband and wife living with dementia.
As the event takes place on the 12 May, which is the 200th Birthday Anniversary of Florence Nightingale, we will be celebrating this special day and the work of all health professionals across Derbyshire.
Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis to staff from Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Foundation Trust. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
