Help shape our work on disability and race equality
We’d welcome your involvement in up-coming engagement sessions to develop action plans around our NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES) and NHS Workforce Disability Equality Standard (WDES).
All colleagues are welcome, particularly any colleagues who are black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) to the WRES session and those with disabilities/long-term conditions to the WDES sessions, as well as members of the respective staff networks for BAME colleagues and those with disability and long term conditions.
We would really value colleagues’ views/input to co-develop some targeted and outcome-focused action plans that would be aimed at improving employment opportunities as well as workplace experience for colleagues, particularly those with protected characteristics as defined by the Equality Act 2010. Colleagues are not required to attend all the sessions and can simply drop in to any or all of the sessions for however long they feel able to.

Alternatively, more sessions could be considered if demand dictates.
