What will the Virtual Quality Conversations Masterclass cover?

After a brief overview of the Quality Conversation approach, this session will focus in on maximising your impact on the phone including sensory acuity, vocal qualities, listening skills and listening blocks.

Do I need to have already completed the QC training?

You do not need to have attended the Quality Conversations Programme to benefit from this session.

How will the training help me?

The Virtual Quality Conversations Masterclass is aimed at frontline staff who are expected to interact with their patients, service users, clients and their families over the phone, or via video link. It will focus on how you communicate, not on the technical aspects of the various applications used.

What’s the training like?

This is a one-off interactive, online training. Groups are small with just 12 people per session. There’ll be time and space to practice your new skills in virtual break out rooms

What do I need to join the training?

It’s straightforward to join, all you need is access to a computer with a web-cam and microphone in a quiet room with internet access. Feedback about the virtual approach has been really positive with staff saying it was a great way of learning in an intimate setting.
