Wellbeing Training: Beating Burnout & Personal Power
Following staff feedback we are launching 2 brand new wellbeing training sessions through February. Beating Burnout will give you practical strategies for fighting fatigue and staying resilient. Personal Power will boost your confidence and fill up your self-esteem. Both sessions are 90minutes and are running across several dates. For more info please email firstname.lastname@example.org
TTD - keeping check ins going
On Thursday 4 February teams across the trust held check in meetings to connect with colleagues and discuss their wellbeing. The feedback has been great and we don’t want this to be a one off, let’s keep the conversations going and find regular opportunities for us to pause and reflect on how we all are. To help keep these conversations fresh we have created a list of conversation starter questions which you can use. Check this out here.
Financial Wellbeing Session Film & new support group
In January we launched a new focus on financial wellbeing, hosting an interactive session with coach Chris Hughes. You can now view the recording of this here.
We are now continuing the conversation with our first ever financial wellbeing peer support group. We will meet on the first Wednesday of every month to share strategies and discuss resources to support our financial health. Qwell - The mental health & emotional wellbeing support service for all parents and carers in Derbyshire.
Qwell has been commissioned by the local CCG to deliver free, personalised, online counselling, support and advice to parents and carers across Derby City and County.
Qualified therapists are online 365 days a year. Monday to Friday, from midday until 10.00pm and weekend 6.00pm until 10.00pm.
There is no criteria or referral process. Both parents & carers can access support for any issues they may be experiencing. This may include; self-esteem, bereavement, pressures and anxieties related to lockdowns, suicidal thoughts, friendships, family life, relationships, sexuality etc.

As well as chatting to our therapists on Qwell's text based service, parents & carers can message our team 24 hours a day, access our fully-moderated support forums, online magazine and other self-help tools.
Hormone and Reproductive Health Project
The Staff Wellbeing Team will be hosting two talks with Q and A’s in the next coming weeks:
Nutrition and Hormone and Reproductive Health with Ruth Bailey (Staff Wellbeing Officer)
Ruth Bailey (Staff Wellbeing Officer) will be talking about nutrition and how best to support your body in relation to hormone and reproductive health. There will also be opportunities to ask questions.
The talk will be on Thursday 11 February 2021 at 1.30pm to 2.30pm on Microsoft Teams
The truth about HRT with Dr Amanda Smith
Dr Amanda Smith is a British Menopause Society (BMS) recognised Menopause expert and Menopause Principle Trainer. This talk will all be about HRT and the alternatives in helping with the menopause. There will also be opportunity to ask your questions.
The talk will be on Tuesday 2 March 2021 at 1.00pm on Microsoft Teams
