Would you like to have a Wild Wellbeing session with your team?

As part of our Wild Wellbeing Alliance, we are working with The Derbyshire Wildlife Trust to offer teams the chance to get together and do an outdoor activity on DCHS sites. This is a chance for you to have some team-time, improve your wellbeing and also help carry out bio-diversity surveys on some of our sites under the expert guidance of the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust.

The session lengths will be 2-3 hours (times and dates can be planned to suit your team) and will allow you to:

  • Socialise and work together as a team
  • Gain skills in species identification
  • Discover the biodiversity of our sites and identify ways to improve them for nature
  • Gain insight into outdoor/nature-based wellbeing and the mental and physical benefits that can be gained

An ideal way to get your team together as the lockdown eases and the weather improves!

The number of sessions available is limited, but if your team is interested in one of these fully-funded sessions, please email your expression of interest to Mark Armstrong-Read (m.armstrong-read@nhs.net) with your full contact details, your team/service name, where you are based and how many people are in your team (we may need to break larger teams down into separate sessions if Covid restrictions still apply).
