New ways of working

Many of us have been working very differently since the start of the pandemic, adapting quickly to new ways of working, new environments and even new teams.  As we start to move forward, and away from some of the restrictions that enforced the changes, we want to make sure we don’t miss the opportunity to reflect on the benefits and learning from these new working practices.

We need to understand what these different ways of working mean for us all, including those who regularly work in a DCHS base and those delivering face-to-face or remote patient care. We shared a short survey (5-mins) with all staff yesterday to gather your thoughts, comments and ideas. Throughout June there will be many more opportunities to get involved, in order to listen and support the next steps that are right for you and your team. We will use your input, along with what you told us in the NHS Staff Survey, to shape the organisational offer and various support mechanisms. So – please complete the survey and encourage your teams to do so.
