Genuine message in Microsoft Teams chat

You may have recently received this message (see below) in your Microsoft Teams Chat. It is a genuine message from NHS Digital, but there’s no need for any action, it is merely to raise awareness.

The privacy settings for all of our N365 applications are set to Private by default.

The Information Governance Team are in the process of creating the guidance for N365 and this will be published shortly.

If you haven’t already installed N365, this is a national requirement and needs to be completed as a matter of urgency. Please do this by searching (in the search box at the bottom of your screen) for ‘portal manager’ and then looking for the N365 icon. Double click on the icon to start the installation. If you are a Mobile Worker, you must be completely sure that you are not connected to your sim when trying to install N365.

If you have any questions at all regarding this, please contact dchst.n365@nhs.net. The installation may seem to stall at 0% but please be patient, the file has to transfer fully to be effective so please give it time. Again, any queries are welcome at the email above.

If you can’t yet see the N365 icon in portal manager it may because your device hasn’t been connected to the DCHS network long enough for the whole file to transfer into Portal Manager. If you can connect to the DCHS network via a cabled network, this can help to speed up the process.

For any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact dchst.n365@nhs.net and we’ll be able to support you.
