Employee Service Desk - Festive Period opening times

Pay and pensions enquiries over the festive period

If you have a payroll or pensions enquiry over the festive period, the Employee Services Desk run by NHS Shared Business Services will be available on 0303 123 1144 from 9am to 5pm every day except Bank Holidays (25 – 28 December inclusive).  The average call waiting time for new enquiries is less than one minute.


You can also raise a query via the Self Service Portal and via new functionality on the MySBSPay app.


MySBSPay allows you to securely see your payslip whenever and wherever you are.  It also offers a range of exclusive discounts.   Available for both Apple and Android devices, it can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play.


To raise a query, just select the Help section from the Home page and then either view one of the most common queries from the list, or enter a key word search for your query and select an article.


If you still need help after viewing the article, then simply press the “Open a new case” button which will allow you to submit detailed information about your query for the NHS SBS team to respond to. You can also see your list of cases, both past and present, on the main Help page.  Selecting one will show you more details of updates and responses and allow you to add further comments yourself.
