Ready to return to practice
If you know anyone who has left an allied health profession to raise their family, NHS Health Education England (HEE) has information and funding to help them return to practice.
HEE is running a pilot project in the East Midlands to support potential returnees back in to practice by providing financial, clinical and academic support to any AHP or clinical scientist wishing to take the RtP in the East Midlands and with a NHS provider. A number of local Universities and NHS Trusts are encouraging returnees to work with them to gain the relevant skills and knowledge to meet the re-registration requirements for the HCPC. HEE will fund potential returnees with out of pocket expenses up to £500, with additional funding for relevant RtP course or appropriate postgraduate courses delivered in universities in the East Midlands.
