E-training to support carers
There are presently approximately 6.5 million carers in the U.K and it is anticipated this will rise to approx.9 million by 2037.
Three in five people will be carers at some point in their lives and the King’s Fund and NHS England have highlighted some of the challenges and issues that carers face. As an organisation, we want to address these issues and create a culture that works collaboratively with carers to ensure they remain healthy and happy to continue their role in supporting their family member with health needs.
The Queens Nurse Institute has devised some great e-learning packages that support School Nurses, District Nurses and other professionals that may come in contact with carers.
