DCHS signs the Time To Change Employers Pledge
Tracy Allen, chief executive and Amanda Rawlings, director of POE, have signed the Time To Change Employers Pledge on behalf of all of DCHS to show our commitment to improving our culture around mental health issues, removing discrimination and improving support options.
This is a really exciting development for the trust and we have been working closely with the leading mental health charity to refine our strategy for staff emotional wellbeing.
The changes you will see as a result of this work are:
Improved support for managers to help staff who are struggling with mental health issues.
A number of awareness day events and associated activities aimed at starting conversations around mental health.
Improved support and advice options for staff struggling with any emotional wellbeing related issue.
A network of mental health champions who will provide support, signposting and information across the county.
A new toolkit designed to support staff when they are off sick with stress or mental health related illness.
