ESR self service is changing......
Why is the system changing?
DCHS have been working with the ESR Central Team as a pilot site to help improve the end user experience of ESR. The new ‘My ESR’ Employee Portal will provide an improved user experience with a brand new ‘Landing Page’, providing easy access to a number of key features and frequently used areas of ESR from one screen.
When will this happen?
The upgrade will happen in April 2017 for the wider NHS, however as we are a pilot site ‘My ESR’ is available now. Please log in and familiarise yourself with the ‘new look’ system.
How do I access ‘My ESR’?
‘My ESR’ can be accessed by selecting the new ‘My ESR’ desktop icon – your existing smartcard and password will be needed to access the updated system. If you would like to access Employee Self-Service from home please see the ‘how to’ guide, this will explain the steps to take to set up the ‘At Home’ access.
What do I need to do once I have logged in?
Once you have logged in to the new system could we ask that you take this opportunity to update your personal information and add/amend anything that is incorrect? If you have a work mobile number could also make sure that this has been entered into the correct field also.
Can I still access the existing ESR?
Access to the existing ESR will be available in the short term; however this is likely to be removed within the next few weeks.
Where can I find out further details?
For an overview of the ‘My ESR’ please see the ‘ESR Portal’ Familiarisation User Guide or if you would like to speak to someone please contact Quality and Business Services on 01246 253 077 Option 3 followed by Option 2.
