Dare to be different - Leadership Conference 2017
You will recall at the 2016 leadership conference Andy Bradley identified that the ‘shadow’ side of the highly committed, engaged workforce DCHS benefits from, was the risk of staff working long hours, feeling under pressure and ultimately negatively impacting on their wellbeing. This view has been supported more recently by feedback in the Staff Survey, Health Needs Analysis and discussions in Staff Forum.
At this year’s conference Tracy is keen to pick up this challenge that faces us as leaders and take some time out to consider how we might achieve what needs to be done in a way that protects us from the risk of having the unhealthy culture Andy described. We will take time to ask ourselves if we can do things differently. We will be invited to think creatively, challenge existing practices and suggest new ways of working, which will enable us to deliver our services in a way that maintains wellbeing for ourselves and our teams.
With just 3 weeks to go until this year’s DCHS Leadership Conference there's still time to book your place. Please email DCHST.email@example.com to bag yourself, or any other leaders in your team who feel may benefit from the experience, a seat.
Come along and take some time out for you to mix and mingle with your fellow leaders and help shape how we can do things differently in 2017.
