Better Care Closer to Home consultation - staff briefings
We promised to let you know as soon as there was any news on the Better Care Closer to Home consultation from North Derbyshire and Hardwick Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs).
We have now heard that the two CCGs’ governing bodies are meeting in public on Monday 24 July at 7pm at County Hall, Matlock, and they expect to make a decision on the consultation outcome.
In order to be able to share with you whatever key outcomes are decided at that meeting, we have organised the following DCHS open staff briefing sessions to take place the morning after, on Tuesday 25 July, at these times and venues:
- 9am – 10am, Clay Cross Hospital, meeting room
- 9am – 10am, Newholme Hospital, dining room
- 9am – 10am, Bolsover Hospital, board room
- 9am – 10am, Cavendish Hospital, meeting room
- 11am – 12 midday, Walton Hospital, day room
- 11am – 12 midday, Whitworth Hospital, the lodge.
You are welcome to come along to any of these sessions – there is no need to book – and one of our DCHS executive team will be there to share the outcomes and take questions.
There are no papers from the CCGs ahead of their decision-making meeting, but this is the media release which the CCGs are issuing today to make people aware of the meeting. This is a meeting to be held in public so anyone is free to attend to hear the discussions by the CCGs’ governing bodies.
Many of us working in and around north Derbyshire were involved in feeding comments into the consultation last year and we have been anticipating the next steps for some time.
If you can’t make any of the sessions at our sites on 25 July we will be sharing the outcomes via email and with leaders to pass on to colleagues. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please approach your manager or email: email@example.com.
