Standards of business conduct - policy update

The Standards of Business Conduct Policy has been updated in line with the new national guidance from NHS England.

The policy aims to ensure all employees are aware of the correct procedure and forms to complete when:

  • Giving or receiving gifts and hospitality
  • Being offered sponsorship for a course or for an event
  • Declaring secondary employment or private clinical practice
  • Declaring an interest; including the types of interest to declare

All employees have a responsibility to respond to other employees, public, patients and suppliers impartially, to achieve value for money from public funds and to demonstrate high ethical standards of personal conduct.
