Things are definitely getting better at DCHS ......
> This time last year 34% of staff reported always/often experiencing connectivity issues and only 30% said they rarely/never experienced connectivity issues. [Q2 2016 Pulse Check]
> Clinical staff expressed particular frustration with SystmOne:
- they were struggling to get the best from TPP
- they were reluctant to use Mobile Working (citing lack of confidence and understanding)
- they were losing data because connections were failing
We have listened, and taken action. Since then we have launched the Let's Fix IT Clinics; developed the Let's Fix IT desk top icon; direct and easy access to useful guides, hints and tips and other information and support regarding IT issues; invested time and resources in supporting training/update training on SystmOne and upgraded WiFi infrastructure in parts of the estate.
We know things are not perfect yet, but we are continuing to invest and make improvements to enable staff to get the best out of their technology.
