Nominate an unsung hero!

Can you think of any non-medical staff that deserve recognition for their hard work?

Do you know someone who lights up the workplace or goes the extra mile for patients and colleagues alike?

Well, you should nominate them for GoToJobBoard’s Unsung Hero Awards – the only National awards ceremony that celebrates the work of non-medical NHS staff.

49 per cent of the NHS workforce is made up of non-medical staff, such as ancillary staff, admin and clerical workers – these people play a vital part of keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly. It’s these, often unnoticed, but no-less-important members of the organisation that the Unsung Hero Award is all about.

Without non-medical staff, there would be no National Health Service, so it’s important to recognise and reward their hard work on a national scale.

The Unsung Hero Awards help spread the positive news about non-medical workers across the UK. This year, the awards are even bigger and better than last year, they’ve launched a brand new site and created different award categories so they can reward more NHS Unsung Heroes. The nominees and the nominators, whose nominations get shortlisted, will be invited to an exclusive ceremony at The Principal Hotel in Manchester with the winners to be announced at the event.

Please visit our Unsung Hero Awards website and give your Unsung Heroes the credit they deserve. You can get involved on social media using the #UHAwards18 hashtag.

Nominations are being accepted from 15 August 2017 through the entry form.
