Non Emergency Transport Service Update
Following previous communications EMAS take over the NEPTs contract from 19.00 hours 31st July 2016.
It is clear from our initial stakeholder meetings with both commissioners and EMAS, that EMAS are totally committed to working closely with us as partners in order that they better understand both the scope as well as the complex and idiosyncratic nature of our services. Their aspiration is to deliver services that result in good experiences for services users and staff alike.
We are holding 6 events which are being held in both the North and South of the County which present an opportunity for DCHS staff to meet with EMAS leading the project. These meetings will support a 2 way discussion between DCHS staff and EMAS to learn about the new service, how to access the booking system software and be able to discuss amongst other things, the new eligibility criteria.
