Dronfield Integrated Care Services sponsored walk in Clumber Park – and China!
When Dronfield Integrated Care Services (ICS), based at Stubley Medical Practice, completed a charity walk in Clumber Park to help raise funds for Alzheimer's research earlier in October their physiotherapist colleague Judi Wang was on holiday visiting her family in China.
As Judi did not want to let the team down, she decided to complete a walk, wearing her Alzheimer's t-shirt, in China and forwarded us a picture of her doing the walk.
At the last count their combined efforts have raised an impressive £500, with sponsor money still coming in. Josie Reynolds, from the ICS team, said: “We are really pleased as our target was £400. So a heartfelt thanks to all those who supported this worthy cause.”
Team members who completed the walk in Clumber Park were:
Sue Brayshaw, Lynne Bakewell, Jane Baker, Joanne Hudson, Josie Reynolds, Jo Blunt, Gill Astridge, Maxine Townson, Lisa Mortais, Lynn Higginbottom, Kelly Beswick and Kelly's lovely dog Cody.
