A sad goodbye to the Leicester dental team
After six years of fantastic service the Leicestershire Community Dental Team are leaving DCHS on 1 December for pastures new. During the past six years the team have consistently delivered excellent care and managed some big changes to the service, including moving into a new dental theatre suite and the retirement of their longstanding clinical director.
The service was rated an outstanding service by the CQC in 2016, which is a real testament to the expertise, knowledge and commitment of the Leicester staff, and earned well deserved recognition in the media: http://www.dchs.nhs.uk/home/news/news-archive/leicester-based-dental-teams-outstanding-rating-for-patient-care/
DCHS will be very sorry to lose such a great service and celebrated with a tea party to which all the staff were invited. There was much laughter, especially during the excellent speeches by the senior dentists, Keerti Madhvani and Jancy Pope. The friendship between the team members was very evident for all to see with many fond memories recalled between longstanding colleagues. DCHS’ director of operations William Jones presented numerous Long Service Awards to the staff. We will miss you and wish you well for the future.
