A fond farewell to Live Life Better Derbyshire team

We say a fond farewell to the Live Life Better Derbyshire team on 1 December when they transfer over to provide their expertise directly within Derbyshire County Council.

A thank you event for the many collective years of dedicated care which the LLBD team has provided at DCHS was held at the Proact Stadium in Chesterfield on Tuesday 28 November.

William Jones, chief operating officer, paid tribute to the team’s success and to the very real difference their involvement continues to make to the lives of people in Derbyshire.

The 56-strong LLBD health team will continue to provide its highly valued and effective care and support in health promotion and wellbeing, as a direct part of the council’s public health focus.

Jayne Needham, assistant director for health, wellbeing and inclusion, spoke at the farewell event to thank everyone in the team for their many years of dedicated care within the NHS. She was hugely proud of all they had achieved.

The LLBD team will be greatly missed at DCHS but we are confident the team will continue to carry their success forward with them.

Some photos were taken during the farewell event and will be shared on My DCHS and social media in the coming days.
