Outstanding Way - new clinical outcomes model

Another Outstanding Way project, triangulating patient experience, EKOS (East Kent Outcomes System) outcomes and activity information for therapists is ready for pilot phase.  The pilot starts Monday 4 December and will run for three months.

The therapists at Ripley and Chapel are piloting the new clinical outcomes model.

This involves capturing patients personal goals and recording if these were achieved, asking patients to complete an experience survey and looking at some basic service information about number of visits, length of contact and professional input.   As the pilot progresses we will review all three elements of the triangle to understand what this information tells us about the impact of the service we provide. This is ground-breaking work; as far as we are aware there is nothing like this being delivered nationally.
