Staff drop-in sessions with the CQC - dates for diary
In about four weeks’ time, we are planning to welcome colleagues from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as part of their regular and informal engagement programme; the CQC have requested our support in organising these events. These sessions offer the opportunity to literally drop-in, have a chat and share your experiences of working within DCHS. CQC inspector, Nicola Mousley, said:
“From experiences in other organisations where this has been done, it has been a great opportunity for staff to celebrate the positive aspects of the organisation and tell us what changes they have noticed since any CQC inspections; there are no restrictions as to what staff can or can’t discuss with us. This is not an inspection, it is an informal opportunity to meet with staff members from all areas and grades, and engage with them.”
Because we cover such a large geography, we have tried to identify locations which give staff the best opportunity in both the north and the south of the county to drop-in and share their experiences. We’d welcome staff feedback on these locations for future visits.
