NHS Service of Celebration
We have been invited to nominate DCHS staff to represent the trust at a special celebratory civic service to mark the 70th birthday of the NHS on Thursday 5 July. The service will take place at St Mary’s Church, Chesterfield – aka ‘The Crooked Spire’. Arrival is 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start and the service is expected to last around an hour. Please note this event is by invitation only.
If you are interested in attending (or know of a member of staff who would like to attend) please e-mail Rob Steel by Friday 15 June latest – we have 40 places, so places will have to be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
This is a civic, multi-faith service to recognise the diversity within our communities and workforce. The event is being led by Chesterfield Royal Hospital, though guests will include representatives from providers and commissioners across Derbyshire, those in civic office, along with MPs and the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire.
