As part of the DCHSmail decommissioning process, staff will no longer have access to their DCHSmail accounts from today - week commencing 6th August. All emails stored in DCHSmail accounts will have been archived and will be available on request any time in the 12 month period from this date.
Staff wishing to gain access to their archive from this point should contact the Arden&GEM helpdesk on 0300 1231030. The archive will then be sent as a one-off file to be stored on the user’s device. This file will not be backed up elsewhere – any changes to this file will not be saved outside of the user’s device so if lost will not be recoverable.
Anyone attempting to send to a DCHSmail account will receive a message to say the account is no longer active. Staff are again reminded that email systems should not be used for storage of information.
